One life, learn from it!

It’s funny how both your business life and your personal life can fluctuate from one day to another depending on who you speak to, what you read and the people around you who inspire you the most! I’m a huge believer that the people around you are what essentially dictate your next step in life.

For example, It’s been a while that I have written a blog post, and the reason is simple but yet I stopped writing for such a simplistic and pathetic reason! Today, I read a friend’s blog and realized how important it is for me to continue. Two people and two reactions on my part! Interesting!

Pay attention to who you speak with, who you relax with and who calls you tomorrow and once the day comes to an end, sit back and analyze. You’ll be amazed on how others influenced your decisions and your emotions though-out the whole day. Some of these fluctuations maybe minor and have little to no affect on your life, but interesting nonetheless.

Now take it to a new level. Take your Girl Friend, Boyfriend, Wife or Husband and go back in time. Think of how you thought before meeting them and write down what they changed in your life patterns. Go back a little further and choose an EX partner who changed your life, write down what did managed to change in the way you thought and saw the world. It’s amazing!

If I go back to my early childhood, my mom and dad, both French moved to an upscale English speaking community! Honestly, I wouldn’t be writing to you in English, nor would I be speaking it so fluently if it wasn’t for the people I met, admired and competed with. Both my father and my Mother along with my sister are French speaking and all carry a heavy accent when speaking English, but I don’t and this is thanks to the friends I have made along the way.

My love for wine developed from my Ex-Girl Friend, she influenced my pallet, developed my tastes and imagination! I also owe her to the business success I am today!

My father too was too a mentor! He taught me that success came from hard work and long hours. He also taught be to enjoy the moment and study what people around me bring to the table. Every conversation has a potential and every person you cross may one day be of importance. This includes that ASSHOLE who cut you off this morning, think twice before giving him or her the finger, as he or she may be your next big break!

I hope this leaves you thinking!

Eric
