Social Media / New Media / YOU Commerce
I’m witnessing too many companies getting involved with social media / new media without the slightest clue of what they are getting into. Essentially these companies have one or two “I know it all” type employees spending hours of company time setting up accounts such as Twitter or Facebook fan pages and Youtube profiles / video and have little to NO results to show in return.
This is absolutely normal. Allot of people out there consider themselves new media geniuses, but however they really aren’t. They talk the talk but certainly don’t walk the walk. Accounts such as Twitter, Facebook and Youtube require knowledge to properly setup and allot of time maintaining (adding content, responding to people and keeping up with demand).
